Introduction
On the calendar, each green bar represents an event or an activity.
Events are added by the system, and represent an important date; for example, the start of a tenant's lease, or the expiration date of a vendor's insurance.
Activities are added by users; for example, one user can describe a task and assign it to another user on a certain day. This article describes user-added activities.
Adding a New Activity by Clicking a Date on the Calendar
When you click a date, a popup appears.
Complete the popup:
Enter a description of the activity.
By default, the activity is assigned to the current user, but you can select another user, and you can choose to notify the user by email. (The message is generated from a standard template, but you can modify it on the Company Settings screen if needed.)
Click Submit.
The new activity appears on the calendar.
Editing Calendar Activities
You can edit an activity, mark it as complete, or delete it.
On the calendar, click the activity. Details appear on the left, in place of the map.
To edit the activity, click the pencil button (
).To mark it as complete, click the check mark button (
).To delete it, click the X button (
).
Note: Events added by the system cannot be edited or marked complete.
Adding a New Activity from Another Screen
Most screens in Breeze have an Add Activity button on the right-hand side.
When you click it, the Activity Feed appears. The Activity Feed displays all activities that have taken place for that property. You can edit, delete, or mark any activity in the feed as complete.
You can add a new activity by making an entry in the box at the top. When you begin entering information, additional fields appear.
Complete the screen and select the Show on Calendar button.
Calendar View Options
You can change the look of the calendar in three ways:
You can display the calendar a week at a time, instead of a month.
You can view only your activities (and nobody else's).
You can view completed or canceled tasks.
By default, the Calendar shows one month at a time and shows everybody's activities.
If you change the dashboard settings and leave it, when you go back, Breeze will remember the new settings.
