Reviewing Transactions

Updated over 2 months ago

This article describes the following pages:

  • Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Charges

  • Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Receipts

  • Accounting > Accounts Payable > Payables

  • Accounting > Accounts Payable > Review Payments

  • Accounting > General Ledger > Journals

These pages all work the same way. An example is shown below -- Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Charges.

Use these pages to view existing transactions. Click anywhere in a row to open a transaction record.

You can use the Search field to locate specific transactions, for example, you could enter a tenant's name to view their charges. You can also click on any column header to re-sort the list.

Click Add New to add a new transaction.

Time Period

By default, the screen displays transactions from a 12 month period, starting with today's date and working backwards. To view older transactions, use the filter.

Click the Filters button in the top right of the screen.

In the filter, use the Created Before field to search for older charges. For example, if today's date is 4/03/2018, and you want to view charges that are more than a year old, enter 4/03/2017 and click Apply.

You can combine filter items to get more specific results; for example, you could look for charges created before 4/03/2017 that are more than $1000. Use the Created Before field and the Amount >= field.
