To mark a unit as unavailable, go to the Unit screen and de-select the Rent Ready check box.
When you de-select the check box, Breeze removes the unit from RentCafe, and the unit does not appear when you are searching for available units from the Add Tenant and Add Prospect screens.
When you start a unit inspection, there is an option to change the status of the unit to Not Rent Ready.
Note: By default, the check box is selected. Breeze assumes units are ready to be rented.
Unit Lookups
When a unit is not Rent Ready, it does not appear in the Unit lookup on the Add Tenant and Add Prospect screens. (In the screenshot shown below, Unit 1 does not appear.)
But If you select Include 'Not Ready' Units, Unit 1 appears on the list and can be selected.
Unit Directory
On the Unit Directory, the Status field shows if a vacant unit is Available Now or Not Ready.
The Unit Directory is located at Reporting > Property > Unit Directory.
In the filter, you can sort by Rent Ready Status.
