When a tenant moves out, you can inspect the unit and enter the results in Breeze. During the inspection, you can mark the unit as Not Rent Ready. (Units that are Not Rent Ready are not shown when you look for available units, unless you specify that you want to include them.)
There is a default inspection template for residential units. You can change it as needed at Admin > Toolbox > Custom Lists. For commercial units, you need to create an inspection template. Go to Admin > Toolbox > Custom Lists.
To enter a unit inspection
After processing a move-out, click the Unit number to open the Unit screen.
The Unit screen is shown below.
Click the New Inspection button. A message appears.
If you click Yes, the unit is marked Not Rent Ready. If you click No, the unit remains available to rent.

each item, select Passed, Failed, or N/A, Use N/A if the unit you are inspecting does not have one of the items on the list; for example, if the unit is a one-bedroom, but the inspection template contains two bedrooms, you can mark the second bedroom N/A.
Enter Notes as needed. You can also upload a picture, by clicking the camera icon. For example, you might upload a picture of a broken window.
Click Save.
If you are finished with the inspection, click Mark Complete. If you previously marked the unit as Not Rent Ready, a message appears.
Click Yes if you want to update the status of the unit.
Previous Inspections
You can go back and view old inspections by clicking the Inspections tab on the Unit screen.
For example, if there are photos on the inspection record, you could compare the condition of the unit in the past to its current state.
