How do I add units to a property? (ongoing setup)

Updated over 2 months ago

Open the Property screen.

Go to the Units tab.

Click the Edit icon (the pencil) at the top right of the screen.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen.

Click the Add Row button.

A new row appears in the unit grid. Complete the row and click Save.

For a residential property, a row includes the unit number, the number of bedrooms and baths, the size, the market rent, and the deposit.

For a commercial property, there are no fields for bedrooms and baths, but the other fields are the same.

If you need to add a lot of units, you can import them. Navigate to Admin > Import Data. Tick Units and click Export Template.

Save the template on your local computer or device.

Open the template in Excel.

Complete a row for each unit you want to import.

The Excel spreadsheet has three tabs: TemplateFile, Sample, and Tips.

TemplateFile: Enter your data in this tab.

  • Sample: View sample data (i.e. what a completed template will look like).

  • Tips: View an explanation of each column in the spreadsheet, for example, Property, Unit_Code, etc.

Save the template.

Import the template to Breeze. You can drag and drop the file onto the Breeze screen, or you can browse from Breeze and select the file.

After you import the file, Breeze displays the units on the Unit tab.
