How do I import units from the Property screen?

Updated over 2 months ago

When you set up a property, you can import the units as a group from an Excel spreadsheet, saving time and effort. You can import units after you complete the Property Information screen and click Save.

Note: If you enter units manually, you lose the opportunity to import units.

To import units from the Property screen

1. On the Property screen, click the Export Template button.

2. Save the template on your local computer or device.

3. Open the template in Excel.

4. Complete a row for each unit you want to import. A sample template is shown below.

  • Unit_Code: The number of the unit. You can enter numbers or letters, for example, 101, or A.

  • Sqft: Whole numbers.

  • Bedrooms: Whole numbers.

  • Bathrooms: Decimals okay.

  • Market Rent and Deposit: Decimals okay. No dollar signs.

  • Address fields: You can leave them blank if the unit address is the same as the property address.

5. Save the template.

6. Import the template to Breeze. You can drag and drop the file onto the Breeze screen, or you can browse from Breeze and select the file.

After you import the file, Breeze displays the units on the Property screen.
