How do I attach files to records in Breeze?

You can link files to Breeze records. For example, you could link a management contract to an owner record. Every record screen (object or transaction) has an Attachments tab.

Adding New Attachments

You can drag a file into the Drop files here to upload box, or you can click the Choose Files button, and browse for a file on your computer. The file is uploaded to Breeze and appears in the Uploaded Files section.

The maximum size is 25 MB.

Valid file types include PDF, Text (TXT, CSV, XML), Excel (XLS, XLSX, XLSB), Word (DOC, DOCX, RTF), Image (JPG, JPEG, TIF, BMP, GIF, PNG), Video (MP4, MPG, AVI), and other (ZIP, SWF, DWF, DWFX, SVG).

Uploaded Files Section

In the Uploaded Files section, there are a number of tools for editing and managing attachments.

Each button is explained below.

Edit button

Allows you edit the name of the uploaded file (the name that appears on the Attachment tab).

Preview button

Opens the image file from Breeze.

Note: This option is only available for image files.

Download button

Breeze downloads the file to your computer.

Delete button

Detach the file from the record.

You can also use the checkboxes on the left to delete multiple attachments or all attachments. Click the checkboxes for the attachments you want to delete, and click Delete Selected. The checkbox in the header row selects all the checkboxes.
