Rebuild GL recalculates the account balances and details (transactions) used by Breeze financial reports. Certain changes, for example, deleting transactions or importing them into prior periods, can cause discrepancies in the reports.
If you notice problems with your financials or out of balance accounts, or if you change the fiscal year-end, you should run this function.
To rebuild the GL
Go to Admin > Toolbox and select Rebuild GL.
Select one or more properties.
Select a From Month prior to the post month of the transactions that have changed.
Click Rebuild GL. Breeze rebuilds the GL for every month, starting at the From Month and continuing up to the present month, and displays a confirmation message when the function is complete.
Note: Be as specific as possible with your filter settings; running Rebuild GL for too many properties or too many months can cause performance issues.
