With User Property Security, you can limit which properties a user can access. For example, you have ten properties in your Breeze database. If you restrict a user to one of them, the user can only see data that is linked to that property. This includes the property, tenants, maintenance requests, transactions, and so on.
Almost everything in Breeze is linked to a property, so this is a powerful way to implement security.
Note: Another way to limit access is to set up Maintenance Users (users who can only see maintenance requests and inspections).
To set up property security
Go to the Company Settings page and open the User Setup tab.
Complete the Property field. By default, the field is blank, and the user can access all the properties in the database. As soon as you select a property, the user can only access that property's data.
If you want the user to have access to more than one property, create a property list and then select it here, in place of a single property.
