In Breeze, a non-tenant source of income is called a customer. A common examples is the outside company that manages the laundry room or vending machines.
To record money received from a customer
Go to Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Receipts, and click the Add New button. The New Receipt screen appears.
Click the Customer button. The screen changes.
Complete the screen. You can enter a New Customer or select an existing Customer. (In Breeze, a non-tenant source of income is called a customer.)
On a customer receipt, you can receive money for one or more properties at a time.
Click Add Row to enter money received from an additional property.
Select a charge code for each line. When you click Save, Breeze creates the receipt and the charges.
