Commercial leases often have a series of rent steps β for example, $25,000 a month the first year, then $26,000 the second, and so on. In Breeze, you can set up steps on the Tenant screen.
When you add the tenant, enter the full term of the lease (for example, 36 months).
After you save the tenant, you can add the steps in the Current Scheduled Charges tab. Click the Edit icon (the pencil) and then click the Add Row button.
Enter the dates and amounts for each step. The example below shows a lease with three rent steps.
