This article describes how to allow prospects to be screened in RentCafe without charging an application fee.
To remove application fees from the property setup
Check the Property Information screen.
Verify that there is no application fee. If there is one, click the Edit icon and set it to zero.
Application fees can also be set up on the Unit Type sub-tab (Property screen > Unit tab > Unit Type sub-tab).
Verify that there are no fees set up here either.
RentCafe Setting
Navigate to the RentCafe tab and review the Settings. Select Do Not Charge Application Fees.
Note: If you don't charge an application fee and do not check this box, you cannot screen RentCafe applicants automatically, even if you tick Screen RentCafe Applicant. You will have to process screening manually through Breeze.
At the top of the RentCafe tab, select Save and Publish.
