Can I update multiple RentCafe properties at once?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Instead of updating RentCafe settings and information for one property at a time, you can update multiple listings at once. This can save you time and effort, especially if your portfolio has many properties. Or, if a new RentCafe option has been added in a Breeze update, you can choose it for all your properties.

To update multiple RentCafe listings at once

Go to Admin > Toolbox > RentCafe Bulk Update.

Breeze displays a filter, where you select which properties you want to update.

You can filter by property or owner, or you can leave those fields blank to look at all your properties. Publish Status has three options: All, Published, or Unpublished.

Click Display. Breeze displays the properties that match the filter criteria.

Right side of screen:

The screen shows the most common RentCafe settings, allowing you to change them as needed. You can also view additional settings for each property by clicking the More Details button.

You can edit or add photos by clicking the Add Photos button.

Click Publish to update the RentCafe listing. Click Sync Photos if you only edited the photos for a property. You can also click the Publish All button at the top of the page to update all the properties at once.

More Details

When you click the More Details button for a property, another window appears, showing more of the RentCafe setup.

You can change any of the data that appears on the page; for example, you could edit the language in the Overview paragraph.

You can also copy data from this page to the listings for other properties. If you have a number of properties that are similar, you could set them up quickly by copying data (the Overview paragraph, the Amenities, etc.) from one listing to another.

Click Copy Marketing Data. A list of properties appears on the bottom half of the screen. Select the ones you want and click Copy Marketing Data again to transfer the data.

This screen also has a tab for Online Screening that works the same way. You can copy settings for applicant screening from one property to another.
