If you own or manage a rental property in Minnesota, you may need to provide Certificates of Rent Paid (CRPs) to your tenants. With a few easy steps, Breeze can generate the forms for you.
To generate CRPs
Go to Reporting > Correspondence > Tenant.
Select Minnesota CRP.
Complete the screen. The following fields require explanation:
Date Range: The date range defaults to the prior year. In most cases, this is appropriate.
Account: Select the rent account for the property.
Address on Form: You can choose one of the following: Property, Unit, or Tenant.
Print separate address page: If selected, the form will print on two pages, one with the address, and one with the form itself.
Unit, Tenant, and Tenant Status: You can use these fields to filter the tenants. For example, you could create a form for a single tenant.
Parcel Number, County, Management Company, and Site Manager Name: If completed, the information will appear on each form generated.
Click Display. A list of tenants appears.
To mail a form, click the View button to download a PDF. Open the PDF and print it out.
