How do I email ledgers to owners?

Go to Reporting > Correspondence > Vendor/Owner.

On the left, select the Owner Ledger tab. Breeze displays the filter for the Owner Ledger.

Complete the filter.

Owner

You can select one or more owners or leave the Owner field blank to show all owners.

Date Range

Enter a date range for the transactions on the ledger.

Date Asc

Date Desc

Date ascending vs. Date descending.

The order of the items on the ledger by date.

Descending order places the most recent items at the top and is the default selection.

Email on File Options

Allows you to filter for recipients who have an email address in the system or those who do not. For example, you could run the function once for owners who have an email address, and send the email, and then run it again for those who do not and print the ledgers and mail them via regular mail.

Click Display. The bottom half of the screen displays a line for each owner.

Click Send to email the ledger to the owner. (The ledger is attached to an email message that is sent to the owner.)

Click View to download the ledger.

Click Preview to view the email message that the ledger will be attached to. The email opens in a separate window and can be edited.

A typical owner ledger is shown below.

When you email a ledger, it is also attached to the owner record in Breeze, so that you can see what was sent and when.

Note: Tenant ledgers can't be directly published to the Owner Portal, however, you can export the Ledger as a PDF and attach the file to the Attachments tab of the Portal and publish it.
