Charge Payment Sequence Tab

Updated over 2 months ago

When you receive a payment from a tenant that is less than the total of the open charges, Breeze pays off the charges according to the Charge Payment Sequence, shown below.

For example, a tenant owes a total of 1600 for three charges: rent (1400), parking (150), and a late fee (50) from the previous month. The tenant pays 1400. Breeze will pay off the parking and late fee charges first and make a partial payment on the rent charge, according to the charge payment sequence.

Breeze comes with a standard sequence based on typical property management practices. Rent is usually the last charge to be paid off because you want to collect on the other charges first.

If your company has a different order, you can customize this page as needed.
