You can copy a GL account to easily create a new one with the same settings. To finish the new account, you just need to add a new code and description.
Start with an account that is in the same section in the chart of accounts (COA) as the one you want to create.
To create a new GL account from an existing one
Go to Admin > GL Accounts.
Open the existing account you are going to copy.
Click the Copy button.
Breeze displays the New GL Account screen.
All the settings have been copied except for the Code and Description.
Enter the new Code and Description. The new code should be close in number to the existing code so the new account will remain in the same section. In this example, we started with 5210, Recoverable Repair, and added 5215, Recoverable Roofing.
Click Save.
Breeze displays the new account.
