How do I update Maintenance Requests in bulk?

Updated over a week ago

Instead of updating maintenance requests one by one, you can update a group of them at once. For example, you could search for all maintenance requests with a status of In Progress and change them to Work Completed. In another case, you could assign all the MRs at a single property to the same user.

To update maintenance requests in bulk

Go to Maintenance > Update MRs In Bulk.

Complete the filter.

In this example, we are searching for requests at the Madison Apartments with a current status of Call.

Click Display. The screen displays the matching maintenance requests.

Select the requests you want to change.

Status

Update the status of the request. Example: In Progress, Scheduled, Canceled.

Priority

Update the priority. Example: Low, Medium, High.

Category

Update the category. Example: Appliance, Electrical, Painting.

Assignment

Assign the request to a specific Breeze User.

Complete the fields at the top of the screen. In this example, we are going to update the Status from Call to In Progress.

There are two steps to making the updates:

  1. Click the Set Selected button. On the screen, the selected MRs are updated, allowing you to verify the changes before you commit.

  2. Click Save. Breeze saves the modified maintenance requests.
