Company Settings Tab

The Company Settings tab contains contact information for your company and some basic settings for your database. You can edit it as needed.

Left side of screen:

Logo

Click in the Logo field to add an image file of your company's logo. The logo appears on the Owner Ledger, the Tenant Ledger, the Login screen, and other screens and reports in Breeze.

Breeze accepts PNG files or JPEGs. The maximum file size is less than 5000 x 5000 pixels or smaller than 2MB.

Company Name, Address, Phone

Contact information for your company. You can edit it as needed.

SPOC Email

SPOC stands for the "Single Point of Contact." This email address is used as an identifier for your company's admin user and cannot be changed.

Company Pin

A unique identifier for your company. If you contact support, they might ask you for your Pin.

Terms and Conditions

The link opens the Terms and Conditions page. It explains your agreement with Yardi and includes pricing details, including the fees for online transactions and charge-backs. You can review it any time you have a question regarding pricing.

Right side of screen:

Online Support (Chat)

Yes Users can start a chat session with Breeze support. (The Chat icon appears at the bottom of the screen.)

No. The Chat icon does not appear.

Date/Post Month Mismatch Warning Off

No On a transaction screen, if the date and post month do not match, a warning will appear.

Yes The warning will not appear.

Charge Notice/Evict Tenants

Yes Continue to charge tenants whose status is Notice or Evict.

No Do not charge Notice/Evict tenants.

Portfolio has Commercial Properties

If Yes, Breeze adds the Commercial check box to the Property screen. When you select Commercial at the property level, Breeze adds commercial functionality: CAM recoveries, retail, and so on.

Portfolio has Association Properties

This option does not apply to US Residential or US Commercial clients.

Portfolio has International Properties

This option does not apply to US Residential or US Commercial clients.

Resident Screening

If Yes, resident screening has been enabled for your portfolio.

This field is not editable. If you have purchased screening, you need to set it up before screening is enabled. For more information, click here.

If you have not purchased screening but would like to, contact Yardi Sales.

Show Details on Check

Yes The notes for each line item on a payable will appear on the stub portion of the check (in the Description field).

No The note for the whole payable is shown in the Description field of the check.

Recovery Reconciliation Type

Annual You can reconcile on a yearly basis.

Period You can reconcile as frequently as you would like to.

KYC/Payments Portal

If you are the SPOC, this label is a button that opens the KYC/Payments Portal. (KYC stands for "Know Your Client", the process of registering for online payments.)

Credit Card, ACH, and WIPS are the types of online payments that are enabled for your system.

Show Tours

Legacy feature that is no longer supported.

Accrual Accounting

Accrual books are based on charges and payables.

Cash Accounting

Cash books are based on receipts and payments (checks).

Portfolio has Self Storage Properties

This option does not apply to US Residential or US Commercial clients.

Portfolio has Affordable Properties

This option does not apply to US Residential or US Commercial clients.

Resident Insurance

An optional add-on that integrates with Breeze and offers easy enrollment for residents. Contact Yardi Sales for more details and to have this feature enabled.

RENT Cafe Corporate Sites

An optional add-on that allows you to set up a marketing website for your property management company. Contact Yardi Sales for more details and to have this feature enabled.

Show G/L Account on Check Stub

If selected, Breeze will print the G/L account number on the check stub. Note: This option only appears if Show Details on Check is set to Yes.

This tab is part of the Company Settings screen.
