How do I cancel or deny a prospect?

This article explains how to cancel or deny a prospect's application, and how to re-activate the application if circumstances change.

To cancel a prospect's application

To cancel a prospect's application, click the Cancel button next to the prospect's status.

A popup appears.

Enter a date and a Reason for Cancellation.

Note: To set up reasons for cancellation, go to Admin > Toolbox > Custom Lists and select the Prospect Reasons tab.

Click Confirm.

The prospect's status changes to Canceled by Manager.

To deny a prospect's application

Denying a prospect is similar to canceling a prospect.

Click the Deny button next to the prospect's status.

A popup appears.

Enter a date and a Reason for Denial.

Note: To set up reasons for denial, go to Admin > Toolbox > Custom Lists and select the Prospect Reasons tab. The reasons for denial can be different from the reasons for cancellation.

The prospect's status changes to Denied.

To re-apply a prospect

After canceling or denying a prospect, if circumstances change, you can re-activate their application.

Click the Re-Apply button next to their status.

A popup appears.

Enter the date and click Confirm.

The prospect's status changes back to Applied.

Report Options

You can review Denied Prospects by navigating to Tenants > Prospects > Filter for Status of Denied.
