How do I send an email from the Tenant screen?

From the Tenant screen, you can easily send an email message to the tenant.

Depending on the tab you start from, you can select different attachments to include with the email:

  • From the Tenant Info tab, you can select any documents on the Attachments tab.

  • From the Unpaid Charges tab, you can attach a report listing current unpaid charges.

  • From the Tenant Ledger tab, you can attach the Tenant Ledger report.

  • From the Communication tab, you can attach the Communication History report (a record of all communication with the tenant).

  • From Walk In Payments tab, you can attach the tenants WIPS account information (the number that allows them to make walk-in rent payments at convenience stores).

To send email from the Tenant Information tab

In this example, we show how to send email from the Tenant Information tab.

Go to Tenants > Tenants. A list of tenants appears.

Click on the tenant you want to send email to. The Tenant screen opens. By default, it displays the Tenant Information tab.

Click the Email button. Breeze displays a form for the email message.

In the From field, there are three choices: User, Property, and Company, allowing you to select the current user's email address, the email address set up at the property level, or the address at the Company level.

The To field defaults to the tenant's email address. You can add additional email addresses if needed.

Note: If you want to email an Additional Tenant, but not the primary tenant, you can manually change the To field and insert the additional tenant's email address. That is the only way to send an email directly to an additional tenant.

Complete the Subject and enter a Message.

In the Attachments section, you can select any of the documents have already been attached to the tenant record.

When the form is complete, click Send Email.

On the Communication tab, you can see that an email message was sent.

To send email from the other tabs

The Email buttons on the other tabs work similarly. When you click the button, Breeze displays a screen where you complete a message and send it.

In some cases, there is a default attachment. For example, for email sent from the Unpaid Charges tab, Breeze includes the Unpaid Charges Report as an attachment.
