Using the Breeze App

Updated over 2 months ago

The Yardi Breeze App gives you a quick and easy way to do property management work on your smartphone. In order to use the app, you must be a registered Breeze user.

This article describes how to log into the app and navigate in it.

To log into the app

When you open the app, the login page appears.

Enter your Breeze username (your email address) and your Breeze password.

Click Next. The app displays the home page.

The App Home Page and the Widgets

On the home page, there is a group of widgets. An example is shown below.

Note: Depending on your permissions, you may see other widgets.

Each widget is a link to a list of items; for example, My Maintenance is a link a list of the maintenance requests assigned to the user.

For each item on the list, the App gives you a snapshot view, with a description and some basic information. The list for My Maintenance is shown below.

When you click on an item in the list, the App displays the complete record, for example, a complete maintenance request.

From here, you can easily add photos or videos to the record, and when the work is finished, you can mark the item as Complete.

Navigating in the App

Navigating in the app is simple. You can start at the widgets and drill down to review items, or you can click the Add button on the Home Page to add new items.

Besides the widgets, the home page shows the three most recent items for the first widget. Click on the arrow to open one.

To return to the home page, click the Breeze icon at the top of the page.

Menu Button

You can also use the menu button () to navigate in the app. When you click it, a menu opens where you can select a screen or task.

The menu button is available from anywhere in the app.

Checking for Updates

We are updating the App on a regular basis. Check the App Store for news. If a user is having trouble logging into the app, they should ensure they have the most recent version for their device.

Note: The app does not adjust for landscape mode at this time.
