What is YardiOne?

YardiOne is a single sign-on (SSO) platform developed by Yardi. It allows users to access all Yardi applications (such as Breeze, RentCafe Site Manager, and related modules) through one unified login instead of juggling multiple usernames and passwords. Essentially, it centralizes user authentication and security information across Yardi’s ecosystem. YardiOne implements industry-standard password policies and supports multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Note: YardiOne is not used for Tenants or Owners. Tenants should continue to use RentCafe and Owners will use the Owner Portal App.

Adding New Breeze Users to the Breeze Company Database

New users must be added into the Breeze database before they attempt to login to YardiOne. If not, they will receive an error message. To add a new user, go to the Company Setup screen and select the User Setup tab. Add a new row (for the new user) and complete it.

The system automatically syncs the User Setup tab with YardiOne every 15 minutes.

How do users log into Breeze for the first time, using YardiOne?

Each company has a specific YardiOne URL. When a user goes to YardiOne for the first time, they are asked to set a password.

They enter the new password in two fields: the Password field and the Confirm Password field.

They click the Set Password button.

The system asks them to enter a verification code. (The verification code is a multi-factor authentication code. Typically, it is sent to the user's email. )

The user is then to set up their MFA type. Common types are email and text.

The user enters the verification code.

If the code is correct, the system displays the user's YardiOne dashboard.

The user can select the Breeze app to login to their Breeze database.

What happens after the user logs into YardiOne (and Breeze) for the first time?

The system saves the user's password.

When they log in again, they:

  • Go to their YardiOne URL.

  • Enter their username and password

The system prompts them to enter their MFA verification code.

If the verification code is correct, the system displays the YardiOne dashboard and they can select the Breeze app.
