How can a user reset their YardiOne password?
To reset you own password, click the Forgot Password link on the login page.
The system emails you a link to a page where you can enter a new password.
Note: In this case, you have not forgotten your password; you are just using the link to change your password.
How can an admin user force a user to reset their password?
These instructions are written for a YardiOne admin user.
In YardiOne, access the Admin Settings page.
Select Users from the menu on the left. The list of users appears.
Locate the specific user on the list and click the edit pencil for them. A page for that user opens.
Click the Action Menu icon (the button with three vertical dots in the top righthand corner).
Select Reset Password.
The system emails the user a link to a page where they can enter a new password.
Note: If a User is locked out, please contact support and we can Expire the Password.
How long do YardiOne passwords last?
The default is 90 days, but an admin user can change the number of days that passwords are valid.
These instructions are written for a YardiOne admin user.
In YardiOne, access the Admin Settings page.
Select Settings from the menu on the left.
On the Admin Settings page, select the Password Complexity tab.
Locate the Password Expiration (days) field.
Enter the number of days you want. (The maximum allowed is 365.)
Click Save.
