Who is an admin in YardiOne?
In YardiOne, an admin is a user who can control YardiOne features for other users in their company.
On the user profile screen in YardiOne, there is a setting that designates the user as an admin user and gives them access to admin functions. By default, the Breeze SPOC (single point of contact) is automatically an admin user. The Breeze SPOC can then designate other Breeze users in their company as admin users.
In practical terms, "access to admin functions" means the user can open the Admin Settings tab in the YardiOne screen.
How can I access the admin functions in YardiOne?
In YardiOne, click the dropdown arrow next to your name and select Admin Settings. The Admin dashboard opens. From the dashboard, you can access specific functions via menus.
How can the admin set the MFA types available to users?
MFA stands for Multi-Factor Authentication. The commonly used types are email and text.
To determine which types can be used by the Breeze users in your company, access the Admin Settings in YardiOne.
From the menu on the left, select Settings.
At the top, select the Multi-Factor tab.
The screen displays four MFA types: Security key, Text (SMS) verification, Authenticator verification, and Email verification.
Enable the types you want the Breeze users in your company to use.
How can the admin user set up the Remember Device feature?
With the "remember device" feature, the user does not need to enter an MFA code every time they log in. The system "remembers" the device they logged in from, and allows subsequent logins from this device with just the username and password. This lasts for a set number of days after the initial login with MFA.
To enable the Remember Device feature, access the Admin Settings in YardiOne.
From the menu on the left, select Settings.
At the top, select the Security tab.
Locate the row for Remember This Device (days). Enter the number of Days, and click Update.
There is also a setting on this page for removing remembered devices from the system. If you want to force MFA login for all users, locate the row for Remove All Remembered Devices and click Remove.
How can I view the report that shows login attempts with MFA?
If you need to troubleshoot user logins, run the MFA log report.
Access the Admin Settings in YardiOne.
From the menu on the left, select Reports.
Select MFA log report.
Complete the filters. You can filter by date, MFA type, and/or users.
Click Display. The report appears.
The report shows:
When each MFA challenge request took place.
If and when the MFA challenge was successfully completed by the user.
