Introduction
On the calendar, each green bar represents an event or an activity.
Events are added by the system, and represent an important date; for example, the start of a tenant's lease, or the expiration date of a vendor's insurance.
Activities are added by users; for example, one user can describe a task and assign it to another user on a certain day.
This article describes events.
Working with Events
From the calendar, you can drill down on an event record to get information about it and take the appropriate action.
For example, if you click on the New Tenant event, Breeze displays the name of the tenant, the property and unit, the lease dates and the tenant's status.
If you drill down on the tenant's name, Breeze displays the Tenant screen, and you can move the tenant in.
For other events, the drill-down is different. For example, if you drill down on an Expiring Vendor Insurance event, the Vendor screen opens, where you can update the insurance information.
Events Reference
The following table lists the event types, the drill-down for each one, and explains when they appear on the calendar and when/how they are removed.
New Prospect | The event appears on the prospect's preferred move-in date. When the lease is executed for the prospect, the event is removed from the calendar and replaced with the New Tenant event. The drill-down goes to the Prospect screen. |
New Tenant | The event appears on the tenant's move-in date. It includes tenants with the Future and Current status. The event remains on the calendar until the tenant's status is changed to Notice or Past. The drill-down goes to the Tenant screen. |
Lease Renewals | The event appears on the tenant's lease renewal date. The event remains on the calendar until the tenant's status is changed to Notice or Past. The drill-down goes to the Tenant screen. |
Expiring Lease | The event appears on the tenant's Lease To date. When their status changes to Notice or Past, they are removed from the calendar. The drill-down goes to the Tenant screen. |
Expiring Vendor Insurance | The event appears on the insurance expiration date. It disappears when the insurance dates are updated. The drill-down goes to the Vendor screen. |
