Once an HO4 has been set up in Breeze, tenants can purchase it on RentCafe. The Master Policy is liability only, but an H04 is liability + contents, and can include other options, such as a pet endorsement.

This article is written from the tenant's perspective. It is intended to help property managers answer questions that their tenants might have about purchasing insurance on RentCafe.

Log into RentCafe.

At the top of the screen, select Lease > Insurance.

The Renters Insurance Policy page appears.

To obtain a quote, enter a Start Date and click Submit.

A form appears.

Follow the instructions on the screen. Most of the fields are already filled in with information from your tenant record -- there are just a few options to select.

At the end of the process, you select a payment option (Credit Card or EFT) and make a payment, and the policy record is automatically loaded to Breeze.

After a tenant purchases an H04 policy, the policy record is loaded to Breeze and appears on the tenant record.

The property manager can check the tenant record or the Insurance Dashboard to verify that the tenant is insured.
